Net Worth Depends Upon your Stewardship

Ever wonder why it happens that some days you get treated like  you  are “the King of the World” and other days  you get the ” I must be invisible” blanket? Much of the time it goes back to how you chose to dress  or adorn yourself for the day.

People make a judgment call within seconds of meeting you. That first impression will be part of your relationship with that person or that group for a long time and it may not ever change.  If you meet someone dressed for the first time in any clothes other than  your best and  cleanest and brightest, then you may not garner a very strong bond with that person or group.

The perception is that if you do not care  enough to  keep your shirts pressed or your shoes shined or at least cleaned then your are probably not a very strong person with any valuable leadership skills. Do not chose  to dress mediocre if you are meeting someone with whom you want to  carry some influence. Your level of success  in relationships, in leadership,  in business can be directly attributed to how you allowed other people to see how much you value yourself by the way you dress.

This is not about wearing high dollar labels on your shirt collar, or your shoes or your car. It is about keeping bright and clean the articles that are a part of your life. This is a choice of stewardship. When people see that you take good care of yourself and what is around you then they will attach more value to your worth  in their life.  Choose to be a good steward, you will be rewarded for it. And if you need proof: cross reference the  parable of talents and see how that plan works out.You now can buy Proscar online

  1. “Let your light so shine that others may see your works.” For some reason that thought came to mind when I read this post.

    You are so right on!

Last fall I was in need of a builder to put an addition onto my house. I have two builders that live down the street from me. It was easy to pick the builder to do the work. He has a lovely home. His belongings are well cared for. Now the other gentleman has a lovely home – or it use to be. His belongings are left out in the weather and neglected.

How we care for the things of this physical universe is a direct reflection of how we care for others physical universe possessions. It also reflects how we care spiritually.

Sheila your note adds so much to the post here. I do get a very clear mind image of how you can see your builder friends. Thank you for sharing
